The Hollywood W Hotel I made a trip up to Los Angeles recently for few days and visited some of my favorite neighborhoods in the that city, including Hollywood, which continues to be changed by major new housing and hotel projects which are transforming that neighborhood into a much more desirable place to visit and live. The new W Hotel on Hollywood and Vine, built over a Metro Red Line subway stop is an impressive addition that serves as an excellent example of smart growth in an urban area.
