I honestly can’t say there are many Pizza places in San Diego that compare favorably to all the great Pizza Parlors in the New York/ Northern New Jersey area, which is the area I grew up in. However, I found several Pizza joints in the SD area that I do think are very good and can recommend. Here are my top four:
1) Pizza Port (Ocean Beach)
2) Pizzicato (Banker’s Hill)
3) Surfrider Pizza (Ocean Beach)
Honorable Mention: Bronx Pizza (Hillcrest)
